If 275 kilometres of pistes, 80 modern lifts and 80 cosy huts aren't enough: There is so much more to experience on the Wilder Kaiser!
From 10 January the JANUARYplus starts with a varied
and exciting programme that leaves nothing to be desired. A winter snowshoe hike through the snow-covered landscape, skier stretching and ski guiding for the perfect skiing experience - all this and much more awaits you for free (exclusive for guests with a Wilder Kaiser Guest Card).
JANUARYplus Snowshoe hike
Guide Georg welcomes you at Sporthaus Edinger and distributes snowshoes and poles. From there you take a taxi to the Eibauern. This is where the snowshoe hike begins. Together you will explore the Söller Bromberg, discovering places with unique views.
After a breather at Alpengasthof Gruberhof, the trail leads back across the snow-covered meadows.
350 metres in altitude | 7 km | children aged 14 and over
Registration: by 05:00 p.m. the day before online, with the host or at a tourist information centre in the Wilder Kaiser region
Price: free for guests with Wilder Kaiser Guest Card
Equipment: winter clothing, good footwear & gloves (snowshoes and poles are provided)
Duration: from 09:30 a.m. to approx. 02:30 p.m. | Walking time: approx. 3.5 hours
JANUARY plus tobogganing fun in the evening
As part of JÄNNERplus, tobogganing fun takes place in Söll every Wednesday. In Going on Fridays.
The Mondrodelbahn (Moonlight Run) is the more leisurely of the two tracks – ideal for families and anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxed toboggan ride. The Hexenritt (Witches' Ride): it is a little faster and starts directly below the Hexenwasser mountain station.
The lift tickets for the tobogganing evening must be picked up directly at the tourist information offices in the region! (upon presentation of the Wilder Kaiser Guest Card)
The free ticket is valid between 6.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.
No registration required.
Toboggan hire is not included!

Sun on your face, skis on your feet – and après-ski right by the slopes! Enjoy a lively atmosphere and top après-ski vibes at the Schernthann lift in the Hohe Salve ski area.
DJ PYRIT will get the place rocking with hot beats and an amazing vibe!

Retro Skiday with live music

Experience a unique retro event on 7 March 2026 at the Stoagrub’n ski hut.
SkiWelt Hopfgarten–Itter invites you to an unforgettable day filled with music, nostalgia and an unbeatable atmosphere.
From 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, the band “Unterland 4” will keep spirits high with their varied repertoire. Whether you come with friends, family or in your best retro outfit, everyone is welcome to celebrate together.
St. Patricks Day in Söll
on March 17, 2026
Every year on St. Patrick's Day, we meet at the GründlAlm! The national holiday of the Irish is also celebrated properly here in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental.
12:00 a.m. with live music
St. Patrick's Day Ski Parade: approx. 01:10 p.m. handing out of flags, departure with the ski school from Söll-Hochsöll (Stöcklalmlift)
Afterwards, you can accompany the winter witches under green smoke, and there are also small gifts for the spectators.
And as a highlight, the gondolas "Hexenwasserbahn" also glow in mystical green.
